Diane understands that choosing someone to work with concerning your body is an important decision. You need to feel comfortable with the person you choose as well as feel confident that they can deliver the results you are seeking.
First Contact
The first approach will probably be by telephone or e- mail. You may have seen Diane working with individuals, or she has been recommended to you or you may already know her. Whatever the background, she will ask you to have an introductory meeting with her so she can explore your specific needs and how she might be able to help you, in more detail. Of course there is no charge or any commitment needed from you at this stage.
After that meeting you may decide on the spot that you want to go ahead or you may want to mull it over. When you decide to make a commitment you will be asked to provide full details and to sign a contract with her. This confirms the exact service you are seeking, covers all the necessary medical considerations and binds her to deliver a proper and professional service to you. In certain circumstances, Diane might need to seek confirmation from your GP that you can commence training activity. You will never be asked to sign for sessions on an open-ended basis.
Getting the best
Diane usually works with people for fitness considerations on a six week rolling basis which gives you time to begin to see results. It also helps you think about the commitment you need to make to yourself to achieve your goals. Each six weeks you can decide if you want to go further. If you have decided to work with Diane for a more health-related matter, the course of treatment will be carefully outlined to suit your individual condition.
You will work with Diane to clearly defined short-term goals that are achievable as this will help with your motivation. You will usually be given a clearly written training/ health plan that will detail the work you need to do between sessions. Homework is essential to success, but you may find you enjoy doing it!
